Adriana de Lourdes Dorn Rodríguez (born December 30, 1986) is a Nicaraguan beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Nicaragua 2011 and will represent her country in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant.


Sheldry Saez was crowned Miss Panama Universe 2011 during the national pageant held August 26th in Panama City. Sheldry is 19 year old and stands 5’7”. She will represent Panama in Miss Universe 2011 pageant.



Natalie Vértiz Gonzales is a Peruvian pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Perú 2011 and will represent her country in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant.

Vertiz, who stands 1.83 m (6 ft 0 in), competed as USA Peru, one of 12 finalists in her country's national beauty pageant Miss Perú 2011, held on June 25, 2011 in Callao, where she obtained the Best Body and Miss Silhouette awards.



Shamcey Supsup was crowned Bb. Pilipinas-Universe at the Binibining Pilipinas 2011 pageant held April 10, at the Araneta Coliseum.

Shamcey will represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011.



Rozalia Mancewicz (June 27, 1987 - present) is a Polish beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Polonia 2010 and will represent her country in Miss Universe 2011.

A native of Pomigacze, Mancewicz is a student of English at the University of Białystok, aiming to become an interpreter.

Mancewicz, who stands 1.75 m (5 ft 9 in) tall, competed as one of 18 finalists in her country's national beauty pageant, Miss Polonia, held in Lodz on December 11, 2010, where she obtained the Miss Internet award and became the eventual winner of the title, gaining the right to represent Poland in Miss Universe 2011.

She was crowned Miss Russia 2011 on March 5, 2011 in Barvikha. She will represent Russia in Miss Universe 2011 and Miss World 2011.



Joy-Ann Biscette was crowned Miss St. Lucia Universe 2011 at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian Resort in Gros Islet on June 11, 2011. Joy-Ann Biscette is 25 year old and will represent Saint Lucia in Miss Universe 2011.



Anja, who stands 1.78 m (5 ft 10 in), will represent her country in the Miss Universe 2011, the 60th edition of the Miss Universe pageant, which will be held at the Credicard Hall in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011.

A law student, Šaranović speaks English and Russian in addition to her native Serbian, and is actively engaged in athletics and swimming. For seven years she attended acting school in Belgrade and started her modeling career at seventeen, participating in Belgrade Fashion Week.

Olesya Stefanko of Odessa was crowned Miss Ukraine Universe 2011 on December 11th. Olesya Stefanko is 22 year old and stands 1.77 cm. She will represent Ukraine in Miss Universe 2011.




Miss Universe Albania 2011 took place June 10th in Tirana, with the broadcast taking place on KlanTV on June 11th. The winner was 24-year old Xhesika Berberi,who was crowned by Miss Universe Kosovo 2008 Zana Krasniqi (photo).

Xhesika, who stands 1.72 m tall, will represent her country in Miss Universe 2011, in São Paulo, Brazil, on September 12.



Natalia Rodríguez was crowned Miss Universo Argentina 2011 on July 4, 2011 at the Palacio Alsina in Buenos Aires. Natalia Rodríguez is 24 year old and stands 1.74 m. She will represent Argentina in Miss Universe 2011.

Earlier this year, Olivia was found that she had aged out to compete in Miss Universe 2011. She was born in October 1983 which means she is turning 28 later this year. In January, her family reported that Olivia Pinheiro would not attend the Miss Universe pageant, but keep the crown of Miss Bolivia 2010. This statement was made when she was on vacation in Brazil and was questioned by a matter of age.

Diners in Japan looking for a moving experience over dinner can now order a squid that dances off their plate.

A restaurant has created a dish, named Odori don - literally meaning dancing squid rice bowl - by adding soy sauce to a fresh squid.

The high salt content in the sauce reacts with ions in cells of the squids' tentacles creating voltage differences, and making the squid move.

To prepare the dish, chefs at Ikkatei Tabiji, in Hakodate, Japan, first remove the head of the squid before serving the body, with tentacles intact, over a bowl of sushi rice.

Seasoned soy sauce is then poured over it.

As the squid is served so fresh, when the sauce is added signals across nerve cell membranes are re-activated temporarily, making it 'come back to life'

The body is then removed and prepared by the chef to be served as a side accompaniment.

The meal, which is proving popular with diners, costs around ¥2,000 or £15.30 per person

The dish is such a success that the restaurant have patented the name of the creation.

Now other restaurants in the area have begun making their own versions of the Hakodate dish, under different names.

'Thom helped me through losing my baby': Kelly Brook speaks out for the first time over pregnancy heartbreak

Kelly Brook has spoken for the first time about her tragic miscarriage, describing it as ‘the hardest, most terrible time in my life’.

The model, 31, lost the baby girl she was expecting with rugby player Thom Evans in May when she was five months pregnant.

Kelly says she has spent most of the past few months holed up in her Kent home dealing with overwhelming moments of sadness, guilt and loss.

But with her characteristic optimism, the star believes the experience has brought her closer to Thom and allowed her to focus on her career.

She says: ‘The whole thing has been a huge journey. There are so many complex stages of bereavement that I’m still going through.

She enjoyed long relationships with actors Jason Statham and Billy Zane, then England rugby ace Danny Cipriani before dating Thom, 26.

The couple met last December in a nightclub – ‘of course’, she laughs – and Kelly fell pregnant very quickly.

She says: ‘We were very grown up about it, and I felt lucky to have met someone who I trusted and who was kind, generous and responsible.

At the time, we just approached the pregnancy in the best way we could. As two people who didn’t know each other very well at all!’

Pregnancy suited her, and she and Scottish international Thom were photographed happily strolling in the sunshine together, her burgeoning bump on display.

But sadly she was rushed to hospital at the beginning of May and later lost her child.

Kelly says: ‘The whole thing has been a complete drama because having children wasn’t even on my radar.

Thom has only known me pregnant – all hormonal and blotchy – but he was always there for me.

Rihanna was in her home country of Barbados for the latest leg of her Loud tour.

Young sweethearts Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have reportedly broken up after the Disney star told Justin she didn't approve of his new hip-hop music friends.

The Wizards Of Waverley Place star, who has been dating the Baby singer since the start of the year, has allegedly dumped the 17-year-old teen sensation because she is worried about the influence his new friends are having on him.

In recent weeks, Justin has been spending more time publicly with Sean Kingston, rapper Lil Wayne, and singer Chris Brown who has a new song with the Canadian teenager.

Although the two boys didn't break any law and were allowed to continue driving, it is thought that Selena didn't like the attention that the incident drew to Justin.

A friend of Selena told the Sun newspaper: 'Selena told him to stop hanging with these bad people. She didn't want him to crash her gig.

A Wicked day out! Brad and Angelina take spellbound brood out to see West End musical Wicked for Maddox's 10th birthday

It's been a wet and dull summer's day in London - so what better way to entertain your bored children in the holidays than an afternoon out at the theatre?

That was Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's plan, as they took their brood out in London today to see the West End smash hit musical Wicked.


Fun day out: The family had been to Victoria's Apollo Theatre for the matinee performance


The family had clearly fallen under the production's spell too, and were seen beaming broadly as they left Victoria's Apollo Theatre to get a car back to their base in Richmond.

Daughter Shiloh, five, in particular seemed smitten by the show, and left clutching a cute winged monkey, a stuffed toy version of one of the show's fantastical characters.

She and Maddox were joined by sister Zahara, six, and Pax, seven with three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne deemed a bit too young for the afternoon's entertainment.

Angelina, 36, looked rather dressed up considering it was the middle of the afternoon, and was stunning in a classic LBD and nude heels

Brad, 47, however was far more casual in a dark indigo shirt, denim jeans and black boots.

He had taken some time out from filming his latest movie World War Z in London to join his family for the matinee performance.

Angelina certainly wants to make sure her children are seeing all the sights London has to offer, and last week, took them to the city's Aquarium while Brad was busy.

The cast members were said to be delighted to have the famous family come to see their Wizard of Oz themed show.

'There was definitely a big excitement backstage! Everyone was on a high,' a Wicked cast member told Us Weekly.

The family did not sit in a VIP box but sat in the orchestra area and were surrounded by a few empty, reserved seats to maintain their privacy.

Angelina has already been seen popping into a toy shop in Richmond to buy her children presents, including water pistols and pretend money.

An onlooker told The Mail on Sunday: ‘They were all over each other, kissing and hugging. It was very sweet to see. She looked utterly besotted. A girl recognised her and approached her.
